USB 3.0 Motherboard Header 20-Pin Internal USB Hub Controller (4-Port)

This Internal USB 3.0 Hub is the perfect remedy for a computer system lacking internal USB header/port space. This hub adds two USB 2.0 ports and two USB 3.0 ports to the computer by connecting to a USB header on the motherboard and receives its power through the SATA power converter. Use this hub to add lighting, cooling or other systems that require additional USB space.

This USB Header Internal Hub is designed to make life easier. Its all black thin body with premium 3M adhesive backing enables its user to conveniently place it anywhere near the motherboard with great looking!

Customer service offered me a 50% discount on a direct 12VHPWR custom PSU cable. I'm happy with the solution as I can sell the false adapter and don't have to do a complicated return shipping."

    Only viable 3.0 internal hub on the market

    "I bought this internal USB 3.0 hub in order to use all 4 front panel USB 3.0 ports on my case with full USB 3.0 functionality, as my motherboard only supports one internal 3.0 USB header for 2 ports. I could've bought a PCIe expansion card in order to achieve this, but I didn't want to use one of those for several reasons. An internal hub like this is the only other option, so it was either this one or one made by Sabrent. The one by Sabrent is known to have issues with optional SATA power though, so I opted for this one instead.

    The only issue I've found with this hub is that it might not work with all USB 3.0 drives. It works fine with a Samsung BAR Plus USB 3.0 drive, but I get random disconnects with an off-brand USB 3.0 drive that has an LED on it (maybe it's trying to pull more voltage than the hub allows?). The off-brand drive does not get random disconnects when plugged directly into the motherboard back IO. I'm going to assume that this is due to the poor quality of the drive and not the hub.

    So far I would buy this again, however I've only been using it for the past week. Glad MODDIY is providing PC parts for niche situations."

    "After searching high and low for an alternative splitter hub from blocking my pci slot to achieve full 4-port front panel USB 3.0 support, I have found a product recommended by modDIY.com. This is after the fact that the original item I ordered wasn't compatible with my system at all. Yes, there are loads of pci express cards that are available for this but with my SLi setup, it was just not possible. The customer support via FB messenger is a bonus.
