This cable converts an internal SATA port on motherboard to the back PCI bracket of computer system to an eSATA connector.

Header Connection Guides
Simply plug the SATA male connector into the SATA female connector on the motherboard. Note that the orientation of the connection is guided by the tongue and groove mechanism on the two connectors.
