  • Old-Overeducated: the "10 Pin to 10 Pin HDD Hard Drive Backplane Power Cable for HP Server ML350P" from MODDIY works fine in my ML350e g8 v2. All ten conductors are wired, straight through. The connectors are 10 pin Molex MiniFit.

    I bought a ML350e g8 v2 which had only one drive cage. Once I installed a second drive cage, I realized there was no power cable available for it. Looking for the OEM HP cable, it only appears to be available in a cable kit, which costs over $200 USD. I found this cable, and figured I'd try it. It works great so far (only running on it a day so far), but saved a ton of money, and looks like nice quality. Thanks for offering an alternative to HP's expensive cable kit! Much appreciated!
